This backyard sweet tea is just a tad sweet and is taken to the next level with a splash of spiced rum. It is the perfect recipe for a Labor Day get-together or relaxing in a hammock on your day off.
3 cups Walters Bay Iced Tea (any flavor)
1 cup spiced rum (Must be 21+)
1 cup sugar
Optional: fresh mint and Meyer lemon slices, for garnish
Tea Brewing Instructions:
Steep tea bag in water just off a boil for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove and let cool to room temperature.
Spiked Sweet Tea:
In a pitcher, combine rum, sweet Walters Bay Iced Tea, and stir until combined. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve and enjoy!
