This Piña Tealada Tea Slushie combines our hand-plucked Walters Bay Coconut Iced Tea, rum, simple syrup, and pineapple. Best topped with fresh lime and sipped slowly, ahhhh. This is a favorite of ours and it is sure to make you feel like you are on vacation!
- 1 cup of Walters Bay Coconut Iced Tea
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup ice
- ½ cup rum (Must be 21+)
Tea Brewing Instructions:
Steep tea bag in water just off a boil for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength. Remove and let cool to room temperature.
Mix ¼ cup sugar and ¼ cup water together in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.
In a blender, combine Walters Bay Coconut Iced Tea, rum, pineapple, ice, and simple syrup. Blend on high speed until the ice is completely crushed and the fruit is blended. Check the texture and add more ice or more pineapple as needed to reach your desired consistency. Pour into a glass and add a slice of lime. Pure #summervibes!
