This delicious, antioxidant filled, detox green tea that has so many health benefits that you'll feel like a million bucks after one cup!
2 cups water
1 tea bag of Walters Bay green tea
1 large lemon
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon ground turmeric
In a saucepan, over medium heat combine the water, lemon juice, chopped ginger, cinnamon, and turmeric. Bring to a boil, turn heat down to simmer so flavors blend, and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat, strain, and pour over green tea bag in a mug. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes, depending on desired strength. Can drink hot or refrigerated for later.
