Environmental Sustainability

Direct from Grower

Our commitment to the environment -  to the lands on which we grow our teas. From natural forms of pest control to hand-plucking tea leaves.

Social Sustainability

Worker well being & Fair Wages

We believe in sustainability throughout the process, from planting stage to the tea cup. Our commitment is to ensure sustainability in all aspects of our operations

Quality

Hand Plucked Fresh Tea

Sourcing of green leaf to our processing facilities is directly from small tea land holders / Farmers. The sourcing process is so designed to empower Farmers

Tea With a Purpose

Without question, the care provided to our workers and their families is directly reflected in the quality of our tea. By purchasing this tea directly from a grower, you are promoting social and environmental sustainability. These initiatives include child care centers, schools, retirement savings plans, and medical care for our tea estate workers and their familes. As a grower, our care for the land and its resources is sacred. Like the growers at your local farmers market, we at Walters Bay take great pride in what we grow.
